We arrived later in the night around 11pm with our newborn baby and 4 year old. We had been put in a room on the other side of the building. We all were extremely tired, and ready for bed. The room was 78 degrees in it when we arrived, so we turned on the air conditioning. The air condition was making a very loud whistling sound which kept most of us awake through the night. The room smelt like smoke after the air condition was turned on as well. The next morning, we went for breakfast at am.

The options were terrible and everything was gone. We were able to make a waffle and grab something to drink, but that was it. The hot breakfast platters were close to empty and the eggs and sausages that were left looked very old. I requested a late checkout prior to arriving on my reservation and via phone.

I was told 1pm. I did get approached by housekeeping at the end of the hall asking if we were a late checkout of 12pm. I told her it was 1pm, went inside the room and called the front desk to verify. Mind you, I was already told twice that 1pm would be fine. Keep in mind that the waterpark did not open until 11am, which I thought to be absolutely ridiculous. The hotel front desk girl was extremely rude when I spoke with her and very short in conversation. My family and I went to the waterpark, and there was only a couple lifeguards on duty when opening.

My husband actually stated that it looked like he was sleeping. At we ended up leaving the waterpark area to clear our room of any trash and grab our dog.

A plastic bag with my sons life jacket, his swim trunks, my newborns swimming suit and my swimsuit was left in the room as were leaving. I called that day to ask if housekeeping had found our items, and the front desk did not even ask my name, room number or description of the items and placed me on hold for 20 minutes. I ended up calling back and she took down my phone number and stated she would call me back to let me know. The next day I called back, was placed on hold again for a long period of time, and finally told nothing had been found.

I called again the next day hoping maybe somebody on the staff knew something about the swimwear bag, still given the same answer. I am very disappointed in the service, accommodations, and friendliness of the staff. My family and I will not be recommending or coming back to that facility.

The prices were extremely reasonable. The free breakfast was well stocked and very good. Lastly, waterpark was super clean and very fun! We will definitely come back.
